I know it has been way too long since we have had a meeting! The poor Hilton hotel was finally torn down just after our meeting this past spring which was our home for more than 20 years. In the last quarter of 2014, we skipped our normal season kick-off in the fall, only having a wonderful Holiday party on the Winter Solstice! Now that the New Year is here, we snuck one of our clubs favorites from the other side of the pond, Christeen Skinner… She loves to come see us and we love to have her! Since she is like our extended family, it’s only fitting that she is our special guest speaker to kick off our new home at the Courtyard Marriott just West of I-95 from the old meeting place. Although the new Hotel does not have a full restaurant like the Hilton, it does have a snack bar (that looks like a Starbucks) that everyone can get coffee, drinks and sandwiches there! So lunch on Saturday will be a little different, but the hotel is nice and new and clean with free parking which I thought everyone would like! I really hope that everyone can try to make it either this Thursday Evening or Saturday workshop, (the start and stop times are still the same) only the location has changed! Please come and help support the club!
